I offer both proofreading and basic copyediting.

Proofreading: Checking for grammatical and spelling errors, typos and punctuation, and typesetting specs if they apply. Does not involve rewriting.

Basic copyediting: Proofreading, plus further cleanup of syntax, style or copy inconsistencies, and minor editing of word choice or sentence structure. Will verify, to the best of my ability, accuracy of names, dates, URLs and so on, if requested to do so.
